About Roof Duck

Roof Duck was founded in 1947 by Olin Brubaker and his brother, who later pursued other ventures. It was then known as Brubaker Bros. Roofing. Joe Funck joined in the early ’70s and became the driving force behind the company and when Olin turned 80, Joe and his wife, Lori, purchased the business and expanded services to include siding, spouting, replacement windows, and masonry.

In October 2024, Joel Keefer purchased the business from Joe and Lori. After working closely with them on several projects and learning they were considering selling the business, the decision was made to pass the torch. Joel is committed to continuing the tradition of quality, customer satisfaction, and community involvement that has defined Brubaker Bros. for decades. Now in 2026, we’ve decided to give the company a new name, Roof Duck. While we have a new name, we operate with the same standard.
